Student School Board Project
The Student School Board project was born out of a desire to give students more of a voice in their respective high schools. In the Ann Arbor Public Schools, the student government currently has no respected, legitimate voice in policy-level affairs and the Student School Board would be an attempt to change that. Currently, we are still working to perfect our proposal by seeking the opinions of high school students in Ann Arbor. We are also working to find staff members in the district that would support this project. We hope to have the proposal finalized and ready to present to the Ann Arbor Public Schools' Board of Education in early April.
